Say what? Originally, as a young man, I dreamed of being a full-time rock musician like rock gods Led Zeppelin, Nazareth, Boston, then 80’s acts like U2 and Simple Minds. As a teenager, I only wanted to tour and make records. I wanted to leap in the air on a huge stage and windmill like the Who’s Pete Townshend and feel the roar of a massive crowd. But at age 25, once I got a real taste of life on the road, I realized the rockstar life wasn’t for me, so I quit and found a waitering job. So did I still want to be successful? Of course. Wealthy? Sure! So famous that I was instantly recognizable? No, not now, not then. Was I once a delusional young musician? Of course! Only the delusional dream, take risks, and make things happen. Was I crazy? Maybe. Am I still crazy? Read my fiction and find out! Making Steven Famous is an everyman’s story about the dreamer in all of us, how hard it can be to let go of a dream, never mind chase one, and how that one dream can haunt a person his entire life … and potentially ruin not only him but his loved ones as well. By the way, welcome to my Everything Dave blog! Thanks for stopping by. Let’s rock!
